UDIK posts

On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, the Association for Social Research and Communications (UDIK) will attend a memorial service in Visegrad, on the occasion of the anniversary of the killing of Bosniaks in the Pionirska Street in Visegrad. The protest walk will be held at 1.30 pm, a memorial service and laying wreaths at the execution place in the Pionirska Street at 2 pm.

In the Pionirska Street fire, on June 14, 1992, a group of Bosniak civilians were locked en masse in the house of Adem Omeragic in Visegrad. The house was set ablaze and the occupants were left to burn to death. The youngest victim was only two days old. For this crime ICTY sentenced Milan Lukic to life imprisonment and Sredoje Lukic to 27 years in prison.

UDIK wants to remind the public in Bosnia and Herzegovina to this horrendous crime and to pay tribute to the civilian victims in Visegrad.
