Theater of Peace Live is a contribution of youth organizations to dealing societies from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina with prosecuted war crimes and various forms of human rights violations, because as the philosopher George Santayana said: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”.
Transitional justice is one of the more effective instruments to prevent a repetition of this, and the young people are the ones who need to work on it.
Education about specific cases of mass executions represents the best insight into the human rights violations during the wars of the nineties, and clearly and specifically dealing with the responsibility of those who did it.
Acting is the most effective way for young people to deal with the past. At the same time, it is a symbol of the aspirations of young people to transform themselves and society to a better life in the community.
